Deputy Commissioner and SP Inspect New Collectorate Building; Direct Offices to Shift Within a Week


Lohardaga:The district administration is soon set to commence operations from its new address. On Monday, Deputy Commissioner Sandeep Kumar Meena and Superintendent of Police Sadiq Anwar Rizvi conducted a detailed inspection of the new Collectorate building. During the visit, they closely examined the offices allocated across various floors and issued necessary directives to the officials.


Office Allocation by Floor


During the inspection, the placement of various departments across the building's different floors was reviewed:


Ground Floor: NIC, Election, Supply, JharNet, UID, Control Room, Transport, Social Security, Land Acquisition, Treasury, and Social Welfare offices. 


First Floor: Deputy Commissioner's Office, Superintendent of Police's Office, Nazarat (General Administration), Conference Room, Additional Collector's Office, and Revenue Office.

 

Second Floor: Deputy Development Commissioner (DDC), DRDA, Development Branch, Panchayati Raj, DMFT, Sub-Registrar, Education Department offices, and the Library. 


Third Floor: General Manager (Industries), Commercial Taxes, District Planning, General Branch, JSLPS, and Sports offices, among others.


Emphasis on Beautification and Cleanliness


The Deputy Commissioner directed the Executive Engineer of the Building Division to undertake tree plantation in the outer premises of the Collectorate and to decorate the ground floor with potted plants. He explicitly instructed that a thorough cleaning of the entire complex be ensured prior to the shifting of the offices.


One-Week Deadline


The DC ordered the immediate completion of pending interior decoration and other construction works. Furthermore, all concerned departments have been directed to ensure the shifting of their respective offices to the new building within the next one week.


Several senior district-level officials were present during the inspection, including ITDA Project Director Sushma Neelam Soreng, Sub-Divisional Officer Amit Kumar, and DSP Samir Tirkey.
