Bhagavata Katha Brings Peace to Ancestors During Shradh Paksha; Devotees Flock in Large Numbers on Day Three
A massive crowd of devotees gathered on the third day of the ongoing seven-day Shrimad Bhagavata Katha at the Seth Rameshwar Lal Poddar Smriti Bhawan in Chutia, Ranchi. The Katha Vyas (narrator), Maa Chaitanya Mira, stated that listening to the Bhagavata Katha during Shradh Paksha brings peace to one's ancestors, who, in turn, bestow their blessings upon their descendants. Describing the Katha as the "art of living," she delivered a message emphasizing love, compassion, and surrender. On this occasion, the birthday of the priest, Anoop Dadhich, was also celebrated. The program featured a grand Aarti ceremony, ritual worship, and the distribution of *prasad*. Several dignitaries were present at the event, and members of the Shyam Seva Samiti played an active role in organizing the proceedings.
