Foundation Stones Laid for Multi-Crore Projects in Meharma and Mahagama; Development Gains New Momentum
Deepika Pandey Singh—Jharkhand Government's Minister for Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, as well as the MLA for Mahagama—laid the foundation stones for several significant schemes across the Meharma and Mahagama blocks on March 22, 2026. In Meharma, projects worth crores of rupees were launched, including the construction of a park, PCC roads, and boundary walls. Meanwhile, in various Panchayats within Mahagama, foundation stones were laid for Panchayat empowerment infrastructure, school boundary walls, and new Panchayat buildings. The Minister stated that the actual implementation of these schemes on the ground constitutes true development. She identified the strengthening of water supply, road infrastructure, education, and administrative systems as the government's top priorities. The event witnessed a massive turnout of public representatives and villagers.
