DACP Implemented: New Momentum for Healthcare in Jharkhand
Ranchi, March 28, 2026: Taking a significant step towards empowering the healthcare sector, the Jharkhand government has decided to implement the Dynamic Assured Career Progression (DACP) scheme. Health Minister Dr. Irfan Ansari stated that this initiative will benefit approximately 167 doctors, leading to an increase in both their salaries and morale. He added that this decision, taken under the leadership of Chief Minister Hemant Soren, will make healthcare services more efficient and accessible. Welcoming the move, doctors hailed it as a historic decision. The Jharkhand State Health Services Association (JHASA) also put forward demands for amendments to service tenure regulations and the formulation of clear guidelines, regarding which the government provided positive assurances.
