Peaceful voting amid tight security, officials inspected polling stations
The police administration was fully alert today on polling day for the Jharkhand local body elections. The Superintendent of Police (Rural), Superintendent of Police (Traffic), and Sub-Divisional Officer, Ranchi, inspected various polling stations to assess security arrangements. During this, the police force deployed in sensitive and highly sensitive areas, the deployment of magistrates, and the law and order situation were reviewed.
The officials issued necessary instructions to the police officers and personnel present on the spot and emphasized the importance of ensuring a peaceful, fair, and fear-free voting. The local Deputy Superintendent of Police, the concerned police station in-charge, and other officials and personnel were present during the inspection. The administration appealed to voters to exercise their franchise fearlessly.
