Palamu, November 17: Two YouTubers were beaten on Monday while covering a mass wedding ceremony at Chianki under Medininagar Sadar police station. Women present at the venue allegedly surrounded them and started assaulting them. Both YouTubers managed to flee the spot to save their lives. They were later admitted to Medini Rai Medical College Hospital for treatment.
Sources said the event was being organized under the supervision of Bhupendra Super Market’s Managing Director Bhupendra Chaudhary and his wife Sarita Devi. The couple is facing cheating cases registered at Chainpur and Ramgarh police stations.
Two YouTube channels had recently published reports regarding these cases, and the organizers were aware of it.
As soon as the two YouTubers reached the venue to cover the ceremony, the organizers reportedly identified them. A group of women surrounded the duo and started beating them. Seeing the growing anger, both YouTubers ran away to save themselves.
The injured YouTubers were later taken to Medini Rai Medical College Hospital for treatment.
