Minister Lays Foundation Stone for Road Construction
Three-kilometer road project brings joy to villagers in Jamtara: Dr. Irfan Ansari
Jamtara, November 17:
Minister Dr. Irfan Ansari on Monday laid the foundation stone for a three-kilometer road to be constructed from Lokniya Middle School to Vishwanath Adivasi Tola in Jamtara. The event saw enthusiastic participation from local residents.
Ceremony Begins with Traditional Rituals
The foundation ceremony was inaugurated by senior JMM leader Manorath Marandi, who performed the coconut-breaking ritual. The road will be dedicated in the name of senior Congress leader Opin Das. Minister Ansari was welcomed with traditional tribal customs, with a large number of villagers and women present on the occasion.
‘This Is the Road of Public Trust’: Minister
Speaking at the event, Minister Irfan Ansari said the road symbolizes the trust of the people. He added that under the leadership of Chief Minister Hemant Soren, development work in Jharkhand is progressing rapidly. “In the coming months, Jamtara will witness a wave of development,” he said.
The minister further stated that the government is committed to the upliftment of tribal communities, farmers, and economically weaker families.
Large Participation of Public Representatives
The event was attended by Congress District President Deepika Besra, Panchayat Committee member Markus Marandi, senior leader Sanjay Das, and a large number of villagers and public representatives.
