New Delhi: For security reasons, the Red Fort Metro Station in the national capital will remain closed on November 12 as well. The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) informed passengers on Tuesday that all other metro stations will operate normally.
According to DMRC, the decision to keep the Red Fort Metro Station closed for one more day has been taken based on the advice of security agencies as a precautionary safety measure.
DMRC has requested passengers to use alternative metro stations such as Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk, or Dilshad Garden for their travel to avoid inconvenience. The metro administration has also advised commuters to stay updated by checking Delhi Metro’s official social media handles for any fresh announcements or changes.
