MLA Lays Foundation Stones for Development Projects Worth ₹1 Crore
East Singhbhum, November 17:
MLA Poornima Sahu inaugurated several key development projects worth around ₹1 crore in Sitaramdera on Monday, giving a boost to various public works in the district.
Multiple Infrastructure and Community Projects Approved
The projects include:
- Upgradation of Harijan School ground
- Construction of a warehouse in Bhalubasa
- Renovation of the Mukhi Samaj Development Building
- Construction of kitchen sheds and separate toilets for students
- Building of a toilet and kitchen shed at Sheetla Bhavan premises
- Reconstruction of the dilapidated building of Shishu Vidyalaya in Bhuinyadih
- Laying of drainage channels and Hume pipes at Nitibagh Colony Road No. 1
- Road construction in lanes near Mahto Xerox in Indranagar
- Drain construction in Chhayanagar and Bhuinyadih Basti
- Construction of a kitchen shed and beautification/renovation of the community building at Subhash Ashram, New Baradwari
MLA: Fulfilling Development Promises Is My Priority
During the programme, MLA Poornima Sahu said that fulfilling the development promises made to the public is her top priority.
She stated that the foundation stone laying ceremony reflects her commitment to improving civic facilities.
She added that these projects would significantly enhance education, sanitation, roads, drainage, and community infrastructure in the area. She assured residents that more development initiatives will be launched soon for the all-round progress of the East Assembly constituency.

MLA representatives Gunjan Yadav, Pawan Agrawal, Ranjit Singh, Poresh Mukhi, and a large number of local residents were present during the ceremony.
