Chief Minister Attends Cultural Event with Family, Drone Show and Musical Performances Steal the Spotlight

The 25th Foundation Day of Jharkhand was celebrated in grand style on Sunday at Morabadi Ground, Ranchi, during the “Rajat Parv Utsav.” Chief Minister Hemant Soren, MLA Kalpana Soren and other family members graced the occasion. The Chief Minister celebrated this historic moment with the people of Jharkhand and expressed his deep respect for the state’s rich cultural heritage and traditions.

A Magnificent Display of Jharkhand’s Culture

The event showcased a vibrant blend of Jharkhand’s traditional arts and folk culture. Classical music and dance performances captivated the audience. Artists presented various cultural forms of the state including Akhara Jagan (Jhumar), Santhali, Karsa, Kharia, Mundari, Nagpuri, Ghoda, Paika, Saraikela Chhau and Manbhum Chhau. These performances highlighted the state’s cultural diversity and left the audience mesmerized.

A theatrical presentation based on the life of the late Dishom Guru Shibu Soren emerged as one of the most impactful segments of the evening. The drama portrayed his life journey, immense contributions to Jharkhand’s tribal society and his tireless efforts toward social reform. His struggles, leadership qualities and lifelong devotion to public service were depicted through powerful acting and emotional storytelling. The presentation reminded the audience of Guruji’s role in promoting education, social awareness and empowerment among the tribal communities. Several significant episodes from his life were showcased, creating an atmosphere of reverence and emotion among the viewers.

Drone Show and Musical Performances Became the Center of Attraction

A spectacular drone show illuminated the night sky, visually narrating Jharkhand’s historical journey and cultural legacy. The visuals enthralled the massive crowd gathered at the venue.

Popular band “Tom Murmu and Band,” Indian Idol fame Shagun Pathak and renowned Bollywood singer Shilpa Rao delivered high-energy musical performances that electrified the stage. The audience danced to Jharkhand’s folk tunes, creating an atmosphere filled with joy and celebration. The Rajat Parv Utsav emerged as a symbol of Jharkhand’s identity, unity and cultural pride, reminding people of their deep roots.

Bollywood singer Shilpa Rao’s soulful and mesmerizing performances kept the audience engaged late into the night, making the event truly unforgettable.

On the occasion of Rajat Parv Utsav, Minister Shilpi Neha Tirkey, MP Mahua Maji, Chief Secretary Avinash Kumar, Development Commissioner Ajay Kumar Singh, DGP Tadasha Mishra, Secretary of Art-Culture-Sports-Youth Affairs and Tourism Manoj Kumar, Deputy Commissioner Manjunath Bhajantari, SSP Rakesh Ranjan and several other senior officials from the state and district administration were present along with a large number of attendees.
