Jharkhand/East Singhbhum: Jamshedpur West MLA Saryu Rai on Friday laid the foundation stone for 30 projects to be implemented at a cost of ₹1.78 crore from his MLA fund. The foundation stone laying ceremony took place at the Mango Municipal Corporation.
The MLA also inaugurated projects implemented with funds from the 15th Finance Commission, the Urban Development Department, and the MLA fund, totaling ₹2.5 crore and 26 thousand rupees. The projects he inaugurated include the construction of a kitchen shed in the courtyard of the Jatadhari Temple in Block No. 2 of Shastri Nagar in Kadma, the beautification and construction of a jogger's park on Road No. 3 of Shastri Nagar in Kadma, the renovation of Kailash Sarovar in Sonari, and the construction of a shed at the public Shiva Parvati Temple in Panchavati Nagar, also in Sonari.
MLA Saryu Rai said on this occasion that the Mango Municipal Corporation should initiate development projects. They should simply inform him that the work is being initiated. His representatives will then monitor the pace and quality of the work from time to time.
Mango Municipal Corporation Assistant Municipal Commissioner Aqib Javed, Assistant Engineers Mayank Shekhar and Santosh Kumar, City Manager Nishant Kumar, Junior Engineers Mahesh Kumar, Manas Satpati, Uday Shankar, and others were present on the occasion.
