Jharkhand/Ranchi: Ranchi Municipal Corporation's Additional Administrator, Sanjay Kumar, inspected the designated venue for the Ravana Dahan event on Wednesday. He reviewed the preparations and issued several necessary instructions to the officials and staff involved. He stated that the convenience of devotees and citizens attending the event should be given top priority. Emergency services, including the availability of ambulances, health teams, and adequate drinking water, should be ensured during the event.
He instructed municipal staff to ensure timely preparations for cleanliness and crowd management.
He directed all departments to maintain coordination and promptly address any deficiencies. During the inspection, the Additional Administrator reviewed all aspects of security, traffic control, fire brigade deployment, lighting, and cleanliness. He told officials that it is the Municipal Corporation's responsibility to provide a safe, clean, and smooth environment for citizens during a cultural event like Ravana Dahan.
