Jharkhand/East Singhbhum: Anand Marg Universal Relief Team Global organized a four-day blood donation camp from September 29th to October 2nd. In response to the shortage of blood during festivals, the camp, which ran for four hours daily, collected a total of 85 units of blood. On the final day, a special blood donation session was organized on the occasion of Vijayadashami, World Non-Violence Day, and Gandhi Jayanti, which was attended by a large number of devotees.
On Friday, organizer Sunil Anand explained that blood donors overcome their mental impulses and donate blood selflessly. He said that such blood donors are divine beings, embodying sacrifice for the health of others. According to Anand Marg's belief, only a person who has control over 50 mental impulses is truly worthy of service.
During the event, 200 saplings were distributed, spreading the message of environmental protection. Honoring the blood donors, Gyan Ranjan Srivastava, committee member of Tata Workers Union Technology Services, Tube Division, presented them with saplings and certificates. The youth participation in the event was commendable.
