13 Workers Stranded in Gujarat Return Safely

Jharkhand/East Singhbhum: Thirteen workers from Matihana Panchayat, Baharagora Block, East Singhbhum district, who were working at Agilis Vitrified Private Limited in Bela, Gujarat, returned home safely on Friday. Their safe return was made possible by the initiative of former MLA and JMM central spokesperson Kunal Sharangi and the prompt intervention of Chief Minister Hemant Soren.

According to reports, these workers had been working at the Gujarat company for the past several months but were facing constant harassment there. When they expressed their desire to return home, management attempted to stop them. The distressed workers informed their families about the incident, following which the family members sought Kunal Sharangi's help.

Kunal Sharangi took the matter seriously and immediately informed Chief Minister Hemant Soren via Twitter and requested him to ensure the workers' safety. The Chief Minister immediately took cognizance and directed Deputy Commissioner Karna Satyarthi to take action. Following this, coordination with the Gujarat administration was established to ensure the safe return of the workers.

After persistent efforts, all 13 workers returned home safely on Friday. Their return brought joy to their families and the village. Meeting with the workers, Kunal Shadangi listened to their plight and assured them that he would continue to advocate for their rights. He stated that ensuring the safety and justice of the workers is his top priority.
