Jharkhand/East Singhbhum: Tanushree Patra, a third-year, fifth-semester History Honors student at Women's University, has proven her mettle at the national level. She has been selected to represent the Bihar and Jharkhand Directorate at the prestigious All India Army Camp (AITSC) 2025.

Daughter of Gopinath Patra, a resident of Kandra in Seraikela Kharsawan district, Tanushree achieved this feat through her hard work, discipline, and leadership skills. The All India Army Camp 2025 was held at the DG NCC, Delhi Cantonment, New Delhi, from September 2025.

Tanushree participated in the Judging Distance (JDFS) program and was appointed Second-in-Charge (21/C) of the B&J DTE (SW Team). Additionally, she served as a Line Area Briefer. This year, a total of 40 SW cadets from the Bihar and Jharkhand Directorate have been selected for various national events.

Preeti, head of the NCC unit at Jamshedpur Women's University, said that Tanushree's selection at the national level is a matter of pride not only for the university but for the entire state of Jharkhand. Her dedication, discipline, and leadership skills are an inspiration to other cadets.

On Saturday, Vice Chancellor Dr. Anjila Gupta also congratulated Tanushree and said that the consistent achievements of our university's NCC cadets demonstrate that the Women's University fosters a culture of discipline and excellence. Tanushree's success is a matter of pride for both the university and the state.
