Several dignitaries, including the Deputy Commissioner, SSP, and Municipal Commissioner, were honored at the Sarvadharma Sadbhavana Program

Jharkhand/Ranchi: A Sadbhavana Program was organized at the Bihar Club on Saturday under the joint aegis of the Metropolitan Shri Durga Puja Committee and the Sarvadharma Sadbhavana Committee.

The program was presided over by Dr. Ajit Sahay, lifelong convener of the Metropolitan Shri Durga Puja Committee. On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner Manjunath Bhajantri, Senior Superintendent of Police Rakesh Ranjan, Municipal Commissioner Sushant Gaurav, Vice Chairman of the State Minority Commission Samsher Alam, Chairman of the Gau Seva Commission Rajiv Ranjan Prasad, SDM Ranchi Utkarsh Kumar, ADM Law and Order Rajeshwar Nath Alok, Additional Municipal Commissioner Sanjay Kumar, former MLA Jaiprakash Gupta, and Mahavir Mandal President Jaisingh Yadav, along with several other dignitaries, were honored with chunri (scarves).

Deputy Commissioner Manjunath Bhajantri, describing Ranchi's Ganga-Jamuni culture as unique, emphasized the need to maintain unity and brotherhood. He assured all possible administrative support. Senior Superintendent of Police Rakesh Ranjan praised Ranchi's interfaith harmony and called it exemplary.

Minority Commission Vice President Samsher Alam and Cow Service Commission Chairman Rajiv Ranjan Prasad described the unity of Ranchi residents as historic at the national level and expressed their resolve to celebrate all festivals, including Durga Puja, together this year.

Municipal Commissioner Sushant Gaurav praised everyone's cooperation in the interfaith festivals and promised administrative support.

The program was conducted by Mo Islam, President of the Sarvadharma Sadbhavana Samiti. In his presidential address, Dr. Ajit Sahay discussed the religious, social, and educational activities of the Bihar Club and spoke about further improving it.
