Ranchi: Preparations have been completed for the Karam Mahotsav organized by Chadri Sarna Samiti Ranchi. Giving information, Central President Bablu Munda said on Tuesday that Chadri Akhara has been decorated attractively for the Karam Puja Mahotsav. The atmosphere of the entire campus has become devotional and cultural colors due to the cleanliness, painting, flowers and electrical decoration of the Akhara.
Babloo Munda said that Karam Mahotsav is an important symbol of Jharkhand's culture and tradition, in which Karam Devta is prayed for the long life and happiness of brothers and sisters. He appealed to the people of the area to make the festival a success by participating in maximum numbers.
A lot of enthusiasm is being seen among the workers of the committee and local villagers regarding the festival. The decoration and preparations of the Akhara have made the entire atmosphere joyful.
According to the program released by the committee, the fast of Karamite sisters will be observed on Tuesday, September 2. After this, Karam Raja will arrive on the evening of Bhado Ekadashi on September 3 (Wednesday) at 7 pm. And at 9.30 pm, Karam Raja will be worshipped amidst traditional customs and chanting of mantras. On the other hand, Karam dance program will be organized on September 4 (Thursday) from 1 pm to 5 pm, in which artists from rural areas will perform traditional Karam songs and dances. After this, Karam Raja will be immersed from 6 pm to 7 pm.
