Jharkhnad/Ranchi: The Ranchi district administration is fully prepared for the upcoming Durga Puja 2025. In this episode, an important meeting was held with senior district level officials on Friday under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Manjunath Bhajantri. Issues like law and order, cleanliness, power supply, traffic management and security of puja pandals were specially discussed in the meeting. Senior Superintendent of Police Ranchi Chandan Kumar Sinha, Additional District Magistrate (Law and Order) Rajeshwar Nath Alok, City and Rural SP, Sub-Divisional Officer (Sadar), Municipal Corporation officials and all DSPs were present in the meeting.
What instructions were given
Deputy Commissioner Manjunath Bhajantri said that Durga Puja is the biggest cultural and religious festival for Ranchi. All departments will work together to ensure that this festival is celebrated in an atmosphere of peace, security and enthusiasm. The Deputy Commissioner said that our priority is that the devotees can enjoy the puja without any hassle. The administration is fully alert and ready. All departments will work together. In the meeting, additional police forces will be deployed in sensitive areas to maintain law and order. CCTV and drones will be used for monitoring.
Cleanliness: The Municipal Corporation will regularly clean the Puja pandals and surrounding areas. There will be a system of dustbins and garbage pickup.
Power supply: Alternative arrangements (generators) and quick repair teams will be ready to ensure that there is no power disruption during the Puja.
Traffic system: The traffic police will make a special route plan. The emphasis will be on avoiding traffic jams and parking arrangements.
Safety measures: Fire safety, emergency gates and first aid facilities will be mandatory in every pandal.
