New Delhi:Vehicle manufacturer Kia India on Monday announced a reduction in the price of its vehicles. The company has announced a reduction in the prices of its vehicles from Rs 48.50 thousand to more than Rs 4.48 lakh with the intention of giving the benefit of the reduction in Goods and Services Tax (GST) rates to the customers. Along with this, JSW MG Motor and TVS have reduced the prices of their vehicles.
Kia India said in a statement that it is going to give the full benefit of the reduction in GST rates to the customers. The revised prices of its vehicles will come into effect from September 22, 2025, the first day of Navratri. The company said that the prices of vehicles have been reduced from Rs 48.50 thousand to more than Rs 4.48 lakh with the intention of giving the benefit of reduction in GST rates to the customers. Kia India said that it has cut the price of the Carens model by Rs 48,513, while the price of the Carnival model has been cut by Rs 4,48,542.
Along with this, vehicle manufacturer JSW MG Motor also announced a reduction in the prices of its vehicles from Rs 54,000 to Rs 3.04 lakh. The company said in a statement that the new prices have become effective from September 7. Meanwhile, two-wheeler sector TVS Motor Company has also announced to pass on the benefit of reduction in GST rates on all its petrol vehicles to the customers from September 22. However, the company has not shared the full details of the reduction in prices of different models.
