Jharkhand/Ranchi: The Jharkhand government has taken steps towards making social media a more effective medium for solving public problems and helping the needy. Jharkhand Revenue and Transport Minister Deepak Birua said this on Sunday.
Minister Deepak Birua wrote on social media. "Now the system of sending complaints and information coming on social media directly to the concerned department, minister and Chief Minister will be further strengthened, so that quick action can be taken."
He appealed to aware citizens and social media partners to send it directly to the concerned department and the Chief Minister while sharing any problem or matter. Also, instead of sharing the same issue repeatedly, if a partner has shared the information once, then others should only support or follow up on it. This will speed up the action at the administrative level and there will also be no confusion.
Minister Birua said that Jharkhand is the first state in the country where Chief Minister Hemant Soren has made social media platform X a powerful platform for helping the public in the past years. He has helped people by directly intervening in thousands of cases. Now this system will be further streamlined so that help can reach the right people at the right time.
He said that the state government wants the problems of the people to be resolved in a transparent and quick manner and social media can become the most powerful tool for this.
