Uttar Pradesh/Lakhimpur Kheri: On the occasion of World Suicide Prevention Day, a seminar was organized on Wednesday at Medical College Devkali under the chairmanship of Principal Professor Dr. Vani Gupta. Experts like CMO Dr. Santosh Gupta, District Women Hospital CMS Dr. Amit Kumar Gupta and Deputy CMO Dr. Amit Singh said that whenever you think of suicide, you should talk to your loved ones.
Addressing the seminar, CMO Dr. Santosh Gupta said that life is full of challenges. Wherever you reach in any situation, all the students with you could not reach there. There are different challenges for them. There are different challenges for you. Earlier you were with your family in a safe environment. Here you have new challenges. In a new city, new courtyard, you are moving towards writing a new chapter of your life. Many challenges will come in front of you. Do not be afraid of them. Where one path closes, two new paths open up. You should set your goal by establishing harmony between your aspirations and your capabilities. If you ever think of suicide, talk to your close ones, classmates and friends. In today's time, it is very important to have good friends in life. It is quite different from your social media fan following. Real life is quite different from social media. Here, everything is achieved only through struggle. Getting scared of struggles and giving up and having any wrong idea in mind can be fatal for your life.
Lack of self-confidence can lead you to suicide: Dr. Vani Gupta
During this, Principal Professor Dr. Vani Gupta told that your thinking can be different. The way you look at anything, it starts appearing like that. Your excessive expectations can also be harmful for you. If everything is happening according to you, then you never think about suicide. As soon as things start happening contrary to your thinking, negativity fills your mind. In such a situation, lack of self-confidence can lead you to suicide. If you face any problem, then you can tell about it to as many people as possible.
