On this occasion, president Ramesh Singh said, "Every year, we perform social service and humanitarian work during Durga Puja. Doctors are the guardians of our society, serving people day and night, always ready to save lives. From pandemics like the coronavirus to everyday health challenges, doctors have risked their lives to serve society. Therefore, honoring them is our duty and has become our tradition."
Other committee officials and prominent citizens of the city were also present at the event. Everyone praised the doctors' contributions and said that doctors are truly a form of God, thanks to whom countless lives are saved.
On this occasion, the hospital's Deputy Superintendent, Dr. Vimlesh Singh, while accepting the honor, said that every year, Durga Puja preparations are made with great pomp and show for the devotees, and the Goddess is duly worshipped. He also said that on behalf of all the doctors, we extend our best wishes to the city residents for Durga Puja and pray to Goddess Durga for everyone's health and safety. The city's doctors will always be ready to help and treat people.
