128 teachers honored on Teachers' Day, two got Rs 25,000

 


Jharkhand/Ranchi: On the occasion of Teachers' Day, a state-level felicitation ceremony was organized in Ranchi on Friday by the Jharkhand Education Project Council. 128 teachers who made a better contribution in the field of education were honored. While two teachers were given a cash amount of Rs 25,000 each. On the occasion, Director of Secondary Education Rajesh Prasad honored all the teachers by giving them shawls, mementos and certificates.

Earlier, the honored teachers played an important role in the competition organized on the subject of Comprehensive Continuous Professional Development being run by the state government, in which teachers were given 50 hours of mandatory training. Teachers received training on module writing, digital content preparation and other subjects.

During the program, two teachers were also given special honors. Under this, Assistant Teacher Surendra Prasad Gupta of PM Shri High School, Manuwa, Ramgarh and Assistant Teacher Manoj Kumar Chobe of Upgraded Plus Two High School, Dawari, Chatra, nominated for the National Teacher Award, were given a cash prize of Rs 25,000 each along with a memento and a citation.

Many teachers shared their experiences.

On the occasion, Anupama, a teacher of Tata College Colony Middle School, said that such events give new energy and inspiration to teachers. This makes them pledge to work with more dedication. A large number of teachers and other people were present at the function.
