Ranchi: Various tribal organizations took out an outrage march near Raj Bhavan on Saturday against the fake encounter of Surya Narayan Hansda.
On the occasion, tribal organizations handed over a memorandum to the Governor and demanded a CBI investigation into the case. On this occasion, all the members raised slogans against the government and the system. The people present raised questions on the working style of the police administration and pleaded for justice for Surya.
On the occasion, General Secretary of Central Sarna Committee Mahadev Toppo said that a fake encounter of tribal leader Surya Narayan Hansda was carried out in Godda. This is not right under any circumstances. The entire state is angry. The Godda police administration brutally murdered Surya under suspicious circumstances.
Surya used to oppose missionary institutions: Jaglal
The main coordinator of the program, Chief Pahan Jaglal Pahan said that Surya Narayan Hansda always raised the voice of the tribal society. He always opposed the illegal activities being done by the government, missionaries and land mafias. He always raised his voice for tribal rights, rights, education, land security, future of youth, against Rohingya Muslims. His image in the society was that of a clean leader and a public leader. But the administration and some influential people started getting scared of his struggle and public support. With the connivance of everyone, he was killed under a conspiracy, by showing a fake encounter.
Tri First coordinator Aarti Kujur said that this incident is not only a violation of human rights. But it is also a deep blow to democratic values and a blow to the roots of tribal culture. She said that all the tribal natives of Jharkhand, Jharkhand society oppose this fake encounter.
Surya Hansda's encounter is completely fake
Chairman of Central Sarna Committee Bablu Munda said that Surya Hansda's encounter is completely fake. Surya Hansda has been brutally murdered in connivance with the government and the police administration. This is not just a matter of one person or family but a fight for the honour, rights and justice of the entire tribal society. If administrative protection is given to the murder of an innocent person, then the society will lose faith in democracy and judiciary. The entire tribal, Jharkhandi society opposes this and demands a CBI inquiry into this fake encounter.
Before the demonstration, people from all the organizations gathered at Ranchi District School Ground and reached the Raj Bhavan in the form of a procession. The people involved in the procession were raising slogans demanding a CBI inquiry into Surya Hansda's fake encounter, give justice to Suryanarayan Hansda, immediate suspension of the police officer involved in Suryanarayan Hansda's murder and strict punitive action against them. Along with this, other demands were raised like providing security to the family of the deceased, cancellation of fake case, government taking responsibility of education and needs of the children of the school run by Surya Hansda, giving adequate compensation to the family of the deceased.
Former MLA Ramkumar Pahan, Central Sarna Committee President Bablu Munda, Chief Pahan Jaglal Pahan, Mahadev Toppo, Surendra Linda, Aarti Kujur, Ritesh Oraon, Sandeep Oraon, Soma Oraon, Ravi Munda, Ritesh Ranjit Oraon, Birsa Pahan and hundreds of people from tribal society were present in the program.
