Ranchi: Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Cooperative Minister Shilpi Neha Tirkey, who is a Congress member in the Jharkhand government, reached Bihar on Saturday and joined the Voter Rights Yatra led by Rahul Gandhi. She registered her strong presence in front of Rahul Gandhi, Tejashwi Yadav and other constituent party leaders involved in the Yatra.
Shilpi Neha Tirkey issued a press release stating that in Bihar, she joined the Yatra which started from Kursela Shaheed Memorial Chowk in Katihar district today. The country's popular leader cum Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, Leader of Opposition in Bihar Assembly Tejashwi Yadav and all the senior leaders of the formation are involved in this Yatra.
She said that a flood of people has come out on the streets of Bihar to save the right to vote. There is anger in the minds of the people against the Election Commission and a flood of support is visible on the streets. He said that under no circumstances will the right of the people to vote in a democracy be taken away.
Rahul Gandhi and other leaders listened in detail to the pain of the workers making makhana in Kodha of Katihar. During this time, Agriculture Minister Shilpi Neha Tirkey was also present there.
