CM Hemant Soren Extends Raksha Bandhan Greetings to Jharkhand Residents as Sisters Tie Rakhi
Ranchi, August 28, 2026: On the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan, Chief Minister Hemant Soren extended heartfelt greetings and best wishes to the people of Jharkhand on Shravan Purnima and Raksha Bandhan. He wished everyone happiness, prosperity, progress and a fulfilling life.
On the occasion, the Chief Minister’s elder sister, Anjani Soren, tied a rakhi on his wrist and prayed for his good health and long life. His cousins also tied rakhis on him. The Chief Minister sought the blessings of his elder sister and extended his affection and best wishes to his younger sisters.
Meanwhile, Mati Soren, who travelled to Ranchi from Sitasal village in Shikaripara block of Dumka district, also tied a rakhi to the Chief Minister. CM Hemant Soren blessed her and extended his Raksha Bandhan greetings.
Chief Minister’s mother, Rupi Soren, along with other family members, was also present on the occasion.
