New Delhi: A bench headed by Justice MM Sundaresh of the Supreme Court has stayed the arrest of journalist Abhisar Sharma. The court has asked Abhisar Sharma to go to the High Court for cancellation of FIR. Abhisar Sharma had demanded cancellation of FIR lodged with Assam Police and stay on his arrest. The court raised questions on coming directly to the Supreme Court and asked why he came here ignoring the High Court. Assam Police has registered an FIR against Abhisar Sharma for the video related to giving 3000 bighas of land of Assam government to a private company and calling the state government communal.
