Siliguri:. A daring incident of theft by spraying anesthesia on the members of a family has taken place in the Gate Bazaar area of Ward No. 33 of Siliguri Municipal Corporation. It is reported that seven members of the family have fallen seriously sick due to the effect of the anesthesia. These include two children as well. They have been admitted to the hospital. It is not clear yet what has been stolen from the house. The police of New Jalpaiguri police station has reached the spot and started the investigation. It is being told that the thieves broke into Jiten Mandal's house early on Wednesday and sprayed anesthesia on the family members and looted the goods and left comfortably. On Wednesday morning, a relative saw the door closed from outside. He got suspicious. When he went inside the house and looked, everyone was lying unconscious. After which, with the help of local people, they were rushed to the hospital. Local residents alleged that they reported the incident to the New Jalpaiguri police station in the morning, but the police reached the spot a few hours later.
