Ranchi:A public interest litigation filed on the conservation of tigers in the state was heard on Tuesday in the court of Chief Justice Tarlok Singh Chauhan and Justice Rajesh Shankar of Jharkhand High Court.
During the hearing, the court has sought a reply from the state government and asked it to tell how much of the instructions given by the High Court on 28 February 2017 in this matter have been followed. The High Court directed the government to submit the compliance report of the court's order through an affidavit by 23 September.
The petitioner's advocate Diwakar Upadhyay told the court that if the instructions given by the High Court on 28 February 2017 on this public interest litigation regarding the conservation of tigers are followed, then there will be no need to file a public interest litigation in such cases.
