Ranchi: On the instructions of JHALSA, under the guidance of Justice Commissioner-cum-Chairman Anil Kumar Mishra-1, under the supervision of DLSA Secretary Ravi Kumar Bhaskar, the National Lok Adalat has been decided to be organized on 13th September in Civil Court, Ranchi. Pre-counselling meetings of Lok Adalat are going on, which will continue till 12th September. Preparations for DLSA are in full swing.
In view of this, a meeting was held today in DLSA Hall, Ranchi under the chairmanship of MACT Judge, Nishant Kumar with the officials and representatives of the insurance company. MACT Judge, Nishant Kumar, DLSA Secretary, Ravi Kumar Bhaskar along with representatives, advocates and officials of the insurance company were present in this meeting.
PO, MACT Nishant Kumar said that prepare a list of cases related to insurance, inform the litigants by serving notice or through telephone, so that maximum number of cases can be settled and the victim can get benefit.
He also said that in the upcoming National Lok Adalat which will be held on 13 September 2025, our aim is to settle maximum number of cases in the said Lok Adalat. The main objective of this meeting is that you should put up posters and banners in your area, office, make people aware and place the pending cases related to insurance before the bench.
DLSA Secretary Ravi Kumar Bhaskar said that for the success of the upcoming National Lok Adalat, meetings have already been held with the judicial officers of Civil Court Ranchi, Judicial Magistrates, Police Administration officials, Nodal Police Officers and PLV. The round of meetings with all banks and insurance companies is going on. The DLSA Secretary also said that if any resolvable case of the litigants is pending in the Honourable Court, then the litigants can get their cases settled on the day of National Lok Adalat, which will save time and money. In the National Lok Adalat, all criminal resolvable cases, civil cases, labour related cases, matrimonial cases, family cases, excise related cases, cheque bounce cases, forest department cases, electricity related cases, traffic challan related cases, as well as land acquisition, motor vehicles, measurement related cases and marriage related cases are being identified and notices are being sent to the parties.
