Ranchi: As soon as the proceedings began on Monday during the monsoon session of the Assembly, the opposition members started creating a ruckus over the construction of RIMS-2 in Nagdi and the Surya Hansda fake encounter case.
Opposition members reached the well with pamphlets in their hands and started raising slogans like take back the construction of RIMS-2. Along with this, members of the ruling party also came to the well and started raising slogans against the opposition.
Assembly Speaker Ravindra Nath Mahato asked Leader of Opposition Babulal Marandi to call the members back to the chair. Despite this, the opposition MLAs did not agree and continued sloganeering. The marshal took the pamphlet from the hands of the opposition members. Some members tore the pamphlet in the House and opposed the construction of RIMS-2.
After this, the Assembly Speaker adjourned the House proceedings till 12:30 pm.
Earlier, the proceedings of the House started at 11:06 am. As soon as the proceedings of the House began, the opposition members stood up from their seats and started creating a ruckus. Opposition MLA Raj Sinha asked the Assembly Speaker to bring the House in order. Despite this, the ruckus continued from the members of the ruling party and the opposition.
