The Chief Minister performed Shodashopachar worship in Shri Kashi Vishwanath temple, prayed for public welfare and public welfare
Varanasi: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and Gorakshapeethadhiswar Yogi Adityanath reached Kashi on a two-day visit on Friday evening. On the very first day of the visit, he paid his respects at the court of Kashipuradhipati Baba Vishwanath and Kashi's Kotwal Baba Kaal Bhairav, following the faith tradition of the religious city. The Chief Minister performed Shodashopachar worship and abhishek of Baba Vishwanath with the wish of public welfare and public welfare.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath first visited Baba Kaal Bhairav's court and performed aarti. During this, he also accepted the greetings of the devotees with folded hands. After worshiping at Baba Kaal Bhairav temple, the Chief Minister reached Shri Kashi Vishwanath Dham. Entering the sanctum sanctorum, he performed worship according to the rituals and prayed for public welfare. During the visit of the Chief Minister, the devotees present in the temple premises raised slogans of "Har-Har Mahadev". The Chief Minister also accepted the greetings of the devotees.
It is known that this visit of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is mainly to review the preparations for the proposed arrival of the Prime Minister of Mauritius, to assess the progress of law and order and development projects. After arriving in Varanasi, he first discharged the tradition by taking the blessings of Baba Vishwanath and Kashi Kotwal.
The Chief Minister distributed relief material to the flood victims
During his stay in Varanasi, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reached the relief camp set up in the JP Mehta Inter College campus near the court. Here he met the flood victims and inquired about their well-being and provided relief material to about 25 people. He instructed the officials present on the spot to take full care of the flood affected people as well as the people taking shelter in the relief camp. He said that basic facilities should be ensured on priority.
Children burst into laughter when they received chocolates from the Chief Minister
The Chief Minister caressed the small children living in the flood relief camp and gave them chocolate packets. As soon as the children received chocolate packets from the Chief Minister, they burst into laughter. Happiness was visible on their faces. He also inquired from the children about their studies and blessed them to study well and bring glory to their family. During this, Labor and Employment Minister Anil Rajbhar, Minister of State for Stamps (Independent Charge) Ravindra Jaiswal, Minister of State for AYUSH (Independent Charge) Dr. Dayashankar Mishra 'Dayalu', District Panchayat President Poonam Maurya, Mayor Ashok Tiwari, Legislative Council Member Hansraj Vishwakarma, Rai Dharmendra Singh, former Minister and MLA Dr. Neelkanth Tiwari, Dr. Awadhesh Singh, Commissioner S. Rajlingam, Police Commissioner Mohit Agarwal, District Magistrate Satyendra Kumar etc. were also present.
