Bokaro: On receiving the news of the brutal murder of 24-year-old Abdul Kalam alias Manu in mob lynching in Paik Narayanpur village under Nawadih block of the district, Jharkhand Health Minister Dr. Irfan Ansari cancelled all his programs and without wasting time reached the village to meet the victim's family along with the Civil Surgeon, District Administration, DSP, Police Station Incharge and all the officials of the Health Department.
On reaching the village, the minister first hugged the bereaved mother and became emotional. He said that imagine what the mother must be going through whose young son was brutally killed in front of her. The mind gets disturbed just thinking about it.
Dr. Ansari said in clear words that what is wrong is wrong. There is no place for violence in a civilized society. If someone has committed a mistake, then there is a law for that, the court has the right to punish, not the mob. Whoever is guilty, he will be brought to the clutches of law in any case.
Financial assistance of one lakh rupees from Rahul Gandhi, one lakh from Chief Minister Hemant Soren, compensation of four lakh rupees under the mob lynching law was announced. The health department announced to give a job to a member of the family through outsourcing. Along with this, the minister ordered the district administration to take immediate action and said that the criminal has no religion, only law. No one will be spared.
