Business information given to women entrepreneurs: Chamber

 

Ranchi: The meeting of the Women Entrepreneurship Sub-Committee of Jharkhand Chamber of Commerce and Industries (FJCCI) was held in the Chamber Bhawan under the chairmanship of Executive Member and Sub-Committee Chairman Aastha Kiran. The objective of the meeting was to provide information about banking services, loan schemes and government grants to women entrepreneurs. 

   A large number of women entrepreneurs, bank representatives and industry experts participated in the meeting. The importance of financial literacy and business assistance for women was highlighted. In the meeting, information about Mudra Yojana (Shishu, Kishor, Tarun), Stand-up India, PMEGP and other women-centric loan and interest subsidy schemes was given by the bank representative. Subsidy, credit guarantee schemes run by the central and state government and their application process were discussed. A proposal was made to organize skill development workshops to move women entrepreneurs from self-employment to business success. Women asked questions about the challenges faced with banking services, to which the bank representative informed about the solution to their questions. Announcement was made for the formation of a special support cell which will provide guidance, banking coordination and organise financial literacy workshops.

        On the occasion, treasurer Rohit Agarwal, sub-committee chairman Aastha Kiran, members CA Mahendra Jain, Avnish Singh, Neha, Avinish, Shahbaz Adil, Pia Barman, Ravindra Mehta, Deepti Mandal, Barkha Kumari, Nisha Rani, Anjana Pradhan, Sangeeta Sinha, Vandana Lal, Neha Kumari, Upendra Choudhary, Kumari Anjana, Sana Shanaya, Deepti Mandal, Gurwinder Kaur, Sobra Khatoon and other members were present.
