Ranchi: A meeting of the District Advisory Committee (PC & PNDT) was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Magistrate, Ranchi Manjunath Bhajantri. During the meeting, the committee discussed the registration and renewal of ultrasound centers, entry in Form-B of the machine to the institutions, joining of doctors and purchase of USG machine.
Discussing the representations received for registration and renewal of ultrasound centers, the committee approved the registration of 08 centers and renewal of 02 centers. Apart from this, in the meeting, the committee approved the entry in Form-B of the machine to the institutions and joining of doctors after certificate verification.
During the meeting, Deputy Commissioner Manjunath Bhajantri gave necessary and appropriate guidelines regarding the inspection of ultrasound centers. He said that the center should be inspected at fixed time intervals and ensure legal action against those who violate the rules.
In the meeting, the committee also decided to start OPD and OT in the second shift in Sadar Hospital. Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Magistrate Manjunath Bhajantri directed to ensure necessary preparations so that patients can get maximum benefit. Along with this, the committee also agreed on the deputation of neurosurgeon, neuro physician, nephrologist under Ayushman Yojana.
Civil surgeon, Dr. Prabhat Kumar, committee members and other members and PC & PNDT co-ordinator Rakesh Kumar Rai were present on the occasion.
