Ranchi: The Higher and Technical Education Department of the Jharkhand Government organized a one-day consultation workshop on “Public-Private Partnership in Higher Education” at Jharkhand Technical University (JUT). Prominent representatives of various industrial groups, educational institutions, and non-profit organizations participated in this workshop. Minister Sudhivya Kumar, who was present as the chief guest in the program, in his address reiterated the commitment of the state government to encourage private participation in the field of higher education. Reiterating the resolve to make Jharkhand a dedicated center of higher education, he called upon all partners to set up institutions in the state and take advantage of the policy.
He also said that the state government is taking concrete steps to increase the Gross Enrolment Ratio (GER) of Jharkhand and in this direction, making quality, employment-oriented and inclusive education accessible with the cooperation of the private sector is a priority.
