Not Maiya Samman, but Mahila Humiliation Scheme: Sudesh Mahto
Ranchi: AJSU Party President and former Deputy Chief Minister Sudesh Mahto has said that the Hemant government has turned the 'Maiya Samman Scheme' into a 'Women's Humiliation Scheme'. To garner votes during the assembly elections, 56.61 lakh women were given Rs. 2500 under the Maiya Samman Scheme, but now citing documents and rules, the names of five lakh women are being deleted. This is making the women feel humiliated. Why is injustice being done to these women.
Addressing the North Chotanagpur divisional meeting of the party's women's cell at the party's central office, Mr. Mahto told the party officials to expose the dishonesty of the Hemant government at the grassroots level.
