Summer cricket and volleyball training camp inaugurated: CCL

 

Ranchi: The summer cricket and volleyball training camp organized by the welfare department of CCL was inaugurated on Sunday at Gandhinagar Stadium. The camp was inaugurated by Rekha Pandey, General Manager (Welfare), CCL.

    In her address, the General Manager (Welfare) told the children about the importance of sports and motivated them to move forward in their lives with discipline, hard work and confidence. She welcomed the cricket and volleyball coaches who are assisting in the training.

  The volleyball camp is being conducted by Jharkhand Volleyball Association's Level-2 coach Nishikant Pathak, Uttam Raj, and CCL's experienced volleyball players Satish Oraon and Ravi Shankar Mandal. At the same time, the responsibility of cricket training has been entrusted to CCL players Anand Kumar, Dhananjay Sendriya and Mohit Raj Minj. The children participating in the camp are being specially taught the fine techniques of the game, physical exercise, discipline and qualities of team spirit.

  This 14-day training camp will be held daily from 6:00 am to 8:30 am and will run till 31 May 2025. Around 200 children are participating in the camp, who are taking full advantage of this golden opportunity. Many officers and employees including CCL Welfare Board member Dilip Kumar were present during the inauguration program.
