NIA will question TSPC zonal commander Ravindra Ganjhu for four days, permission granted
Ranchi: NIA team will question TSPC zonal commander Ravindra Ganjhu alias Aakram G, arrested in the terror funding case related to Magadh and Amrapali coal project located in Tandwa, Chatra, on police remand for four days. The court of NIA Special Judge of Civil Court Ranchi granted permission after hearing the police remand application filed by NIA. NIA had sought 10 days police remand. NIA will question him till May 23. This questioning will be done in the 2018 (supplementary) case registered by NIA. NIA has taken over the FIR registered in 2016 in Tandwa police station in 2018.
Ravindra Ganjhu, a resident of Chhotkinagad village of Manatu police station area of Palamu, is in judicial custody since May 5 in the said case. The NIA had filed a chargesheet in the case showing him absconding. He further said that it is necessary to interrogate the said accused in custody so as to obtain documentary confirmation and identify the government officials who helped in those criminal talks. Also, the stock of hidden weapons can be recovered.
