Mumbai, September 23, 2026: A special interview with Shailesh Naval (IBRS), Settlement Commissioner and Director of Land Records, Maharashtra State, Pune, focusing on the modernisation and digitisation of land records and digital facilities available to citizens, will be broadcast on the ‘Dilkholas’ programme.
The interview will be broadcast on Friday, September 25, Saturday, September 26, and Monday, September 28, 2026, at 7:25 AM on all All India Radio stations as well as the ‘News On AIR’ mobile app. The interview has been conducted by presenter Shridatt Gaikwad.
During the interview, Naval explained the various measures being undertaken by the Settlement Department to make land records in Maharashtra accurate, updated and transparent. He also discussed facilities available to citizens through digital technology, online services and important initiatives such as ‘E-Praman’.
The interview also covers the process of correcting errors in land records, online applications and services, grievance redressal mechanisms, and facilities available to farmers and citizens in rural areas.
The discussion highlights measures being implemented to make revenue services more accessible, dynamic and citizen-centric. It also explores the future of revenue services through Artificial Intelligence (AI) and modern technology.
Naval appealed to citizens to regularly check their land records and make maximum use of the digital facilities provided by the government.
