The Jharkhand State CNG Auto-Rickshaw Drivers' Federation has announced a crucial meeting for August 5, 2026, to address the alleged harassment faced by auto-rickshaw drivers and discuss various pressing issues concerning them.
In a joint press release, the Federation's State President Dinesh Soni, State Vice-President Ramkumar Singh, and State Secretary Ramashankar Singh stated that the meeting would be held on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at 3:00 PM at the Federation's office located at Duke Mansion, Lake Tank Road.
The Federation stated that the meeting would involve detailed discussions on issues affecting the interests of auto-rickshaw drivers, the alleged harassment they face, and future strategies. Additionally, key decisions will be taken to further strengthen the organization and effectively raise the drivers' voices.
State Secretary Ramashankar Singh has appealed to all state office-bearers and executive members of the Federation to attend the meeting on time and ensure its success. He urged that even those pressed for time should spare at least 10 minutes to participate, thereby strengthening the fight for the rights of auto-rickshaw drivers.
