Important news for rail passengers: Several trains under the Ranchi Railway Division will be affected on July 11
Railway block for development work on the Kita–Silli rail section; several trains to have their journeys curtailed, and two passenger trains cancelled
Ranchi: The Railways has imposed a traffic block due to development work on the Kita–Silli rail section of the Ranchi Railway Division. This block will impact the operations of several trains on July 11, 2026. Keeping passenger convenience in mind, the Railways has released a list of the affected trains.
During the block period, the Barddhaman–Hatia–Barddhaman MEMU Express (13503/13504) will not run up to Hatia. The train will terminate at Gomoh station and depart for the return journey from Gomoh itself; operations between Gomoh and Hatia will remain cancelled.
Similarly, the Kharagpur–Hatia–Kharagpur Express (18035/18036) will operate only up to Adra. The train will return from Adra station, and service between Adra and Hatia will remain suspended.
Additionally, the Asansol–Ranchi–Asansol MEMU Passenger (63598/63597) will run only up to Muri and return from there; train service between Muri and Ranchi will not be available.
Cancelled trains:
Hatia–Sanki–Hatia Passenger (58663/58664)
Hatia–Sanki–Hatia Passenger (58665/58666)
Both these trains will remain cancelled on July 11, 2026.
The Railways has appealed to passengers to check details regarding their trains before reaching the station to avoid inconvenience.
