Telangana–Hyderabad Health Model to Be Implemented in Jharkhand: Dr Irfan Ansari
Hyderabad: The Jharkhand government is set to adopt the advanced Telangana–Hyderabad healthcare model to strengthen the state’s medical infrastructure, Health Minister Dr Irfan Ansari said.
He informed that Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) will soon be signed with leading super speciality hospitals, including Hyderabad-based AIG Hospital. This will enable advanced treatment for heart, kidney, cancer and bone marrow transplant cases within Jharkhand, reducing the need for patients to seek treatment outside the state.
Dr Ansari met Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy to discuss the establishment of a MediCity in Jharkhand. The Telangana government expressed willingness to support the initiative, provided land, power, water and security are ensured.
He added that land for the proposed MediCity and Jharkhand Bhawan has already been identified as per Chief Minister Hemant Soren’s vision, marking a significant step towards making Jharkhand a healthcare hub.
