Record voter turnout in the final phase of Bihar Assembly Elections 2025, 67.14 percent polling till 5 PM

 

Bihar/Patna (M Bharat 24 News Live): Voters turned out in large numbers for the final phase of the Bihar Assembly Elections 2025. According to the State Election Commission, by 5 PM on Tuesday, a voter turnout of 67.14 percent was recorded — higher than in the previous two phases — indicating an enthusiastic response from the electorate in the concluding round of polling.

From early morning, voters showed great enthusiasm for exercising their franchise. Long queues were seen at several polling stations, with women and young voters participating in large numbers. Voter turnout in rural areas was notably higher compared to urban centers. According to the Election Commission, the overall polling percentage may increase further as voting continued till 6 PM.

A total of 122 Assembly constituencies went to polls in this phase. To ensure free and fair elections, extensive security arrangements were made at all polling stations. Central paramilitary forces were deployed, and the district administration continuously monitored the situation.

With the completion of this final phase, the voting process for the Bihar Assembly Elections 2025 has officially concluded. All eyes are now on the counting day — November 14 — when the mandate of the people will be revealed.
