Jharkhand/Ranchi: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren attended the grand Dussehra and Ravana Dahan event organized by the Punjabi-Hindu Biradari Dussehra Committee and the Shri Durga Puja and Ravana Dahan Committee, Argora, at the Morabadi Ground in Ranchi on Thursday, the auspicious occasion of "Vijayadashami," as the chief guest.

Extending his heartfelt greetings and congratulations to all the people of the state on the auspicious occasion of Dussehra, the Chief Minister said that this festival is a symbol of our culture and civilization. This festival, which conveys the message of the victory of good over evil, always inspires society in the right direction.

The Chief Minister said that today is the final leg of Dussehra, and despite the inclement weather, a large number of people participated in the event. This reflects the deep connection people have with our culture and traditions. He expresses his heartfelt gratitude to all for this social harmony. The state government is constantly striving to promote our culture and keep it alive. The Chief Minister said that this festival of Vijayadashami gives the message of victory of good over evil, justice over injustice and truth over falsehood in the society. He expressed confidence that the people of Jharkhand will work together with mutual brotherhood and harmony to take the state to new heights. During this, the Chief Minister burnt Ravana with an arrow from a bow, MLA CP Singh burnt Meghnath with an arrow and the Minister of State for Defence burnt Kumbhakaran with an arrow. Before this, a fire and laser show was shown. A colorful program was also organized. Along with this, Lanka was also burnt during this time.
