On this occasion, the Governor said that Bapu's messages of truth, non-violence, and cleanliness always inspire us all.
The Chief Minister said that Mahatma Gandhi's thoughts, his inspiration to follow the path of non-violence and truth, still guide the entire country and the world.
He said that today is a golden day in India's history. Gandhiji's life is a source of inspiration for all of us. His teachings and principles not only gave a new direction to the freedom struggle but also played a vital role in strengthening democracy even after independence. It is the ideals and sacrifices of such great personalities that today India stands before the world as a strong and proud democracy. On this occasion, the Chief Minister appealed to all citizens of the state to sincerely embrace Bapu's principles in their lives and strengthen the atmosphere of peace, brotherhood, and unity in society.
The Chief Minister also paid tribute to former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri on his birth anniversary. He said that Shastri ji was an example of simplicity, honesty, and hard work. His slogan, "Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan," continues to inspire the nation even today. Shri Shastri's life teaches us the values of duty, patriotism, and public service, which, if imbibed, we can further strengthen Jharkhand and India.
