Chief Minister offered chadar at Doranda Mazar

Jharkhand/Ranchi: Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Monday reached Hazrat Qutubuddin Risaldar Shah Baba Dargah in Doranda, Ranchi on the occasion of 218th Urs. The Chief Minister offered chadar there as per tradition and prayed for happiness, prosperity, peace, progress and well-being for all the people of the state.

While talking to journalists, the Chief Minister said that like every year, this year also we all have reached Hazrat Qutubuddin Risaldar Shah Baba's dargah on the occasion of Urs to offer chadar.

He said that today I have performed the ritual of chadarposhi here and prayed to Risaldar Shah Baba for the well-being of all the people of Jharkhand.

On this occasion, the District Deputy Commissioner and SSP of Ranchi along with the Chairman of the Minority Commission, JMM General Secretary Supriyo Bhattacharya and many senior officials were present. This Urs event holds special importance for the devotees and on its last day a large number of people reached for darshan and chadar poshida.
