Jharkhand/Ranchi : Assistant Administrators Chandradeep Kumar and Nikesh Kumar inaugurated 100 new municipal garbage collection vehicles on Sunday by flagging them off. The vehicles were then dispatched to work.
It is noteworthy that door-to-door garbage collection within the Ranchi Municipal Corporation area is currently being handled by M/s Swachhata Corporation. The agency is regularly collecting garbage every day.
The Municipal Corporation Administrator has directed the agency to ensure 100% garbage collection from all households every day. He has also directed the agency to improve sanitation by increasing resources to further accelerate this process.
In response to this directive, the agency has purchased 100 new vehicles (EV and CNG) to strengthen sanitation operations, which were inaugurated. Now the work of garbage collection will be done by the agency with a total of 350 vehicles, which will speed up the entire process.
