: In preparation for Navratri, a team from the district
administration inspected various puja pandals in the Dhurwa area on Sunday. The
team visited the Industrial Durga Puja Committee, the Central Puja Committee
(Montessori Dhurwa), the Bhav Durga Puja Committee (Bus Stand), the Bengali
Maidan Public Durga Puja Committee, the Panchavati Durga Puja Committee, the
Sector-3 Puja Committee, and the Jagannath Nagar Public Puja Committee
(Sector-2 Rajendra). The committees raised demands for traffic, drinking water,
parking, and other basic amenities. The administration took stock of the issues
and issued several necessary guidelines for resolving them.
On the spot, SDM Utkarsh Kumar issued necessary instructions to the committee officials, stating that the safety of devotees is paramount. Special attention should be paid to crowd management, barricading, traffic arrangements, and basic amenities.
On behalf of the committee, President Sameer Singh, Patron Shambhu Singh, Executive President Jitendra Yadav, Sanjay Kumar Singh (Montessori Central Puja Committee), Atul Kumar (Bhav Durga Puja Committee), Treasurer Asim Mitra, Mrs. Sheela Singh, HEC labor leader Sunny Singh, Youth Squad President Ravi Shankar and other members were present on the occasion.
While mainly City SP Paras Rana, Traffic SP Rakesh Singh, ADM Law and Order Alok Srivastava, DSP Hatia Pramod Kumar Mishra, Dhurwa Police Station in-charge Vimlesh Kindo and Municipal Corporation officials were present during the inspection.
