Jaisalmer: In the 641st Ramdevra fair of Baba Ramdev Ji, a symbol of folk faith, in Ramdevra of the district, like every year, this year also a total of 7 information centers are being operated by the district administration, which are actively working 24x7 with mutual coordination.
Teacher colleagues have been put on 'around the clock' duty at the information centers. Rahmat Tullah Mehar is playing his role efficiently as the in-charge of operation and coordination of all the information centers. Also, the system of continuous dialogue and information communication between all the information centers and the police control room was maintained smoothly.
Through these information centers, till 8:00 am today, 31 August, a total of 8 thousand 525 women, men and children have been reunited with their families. In many cases, the missing devotees were reunited with their families within just 15 minutes, which has brought relief and satisfaction to the pilgrims visiting the fair. When the family members meet each other, this scene is very emotional, sometimes there are tears of joy, sometimes a smile of relief. During the fair, announcements related to caution and vigilance are also being made to the devotees from time to time through the information centers, so that any unpleasant situation can be avoided.
As a result of the joint working of the Police Control Room and Information Centers, the missing devotees have been quickly delivered to their families. This dedication and service spirit of the District Administration, Information and Public Relations Department and teacher colleagues is also being appreciated wholeheartedly by the devotees visiting the fair.
